FOZZY To Begin Recording In February

January 13, 2004

FOZZY, the band featuring vocalist Chris Jericho (of WWE wrestling fame) and former members of STUCK MOJO, will enter the studio on February 17 to begin recording their third album, tentatively due late summer through an as-yet-undisclosed label.

In other news, Jericho's collaboration with FOZZY guitarist Rich Ward, a song entitled "Don't You Wish You Were Me", is featured on the new "WWE Originals" CD, due out today (January 13) through Columbia Records. An audio preview of the track can be heard online at this location.

As previously reported, Jericho and Ward recorded a version of the KISS classic "King Of The Nighttime World" for a new KISS tribute record due out on Koch Records later this month. Joining the duo during the recording sessions were former ALICE IN CHAINS/OZZY OSBOURNE bassist Mike Inez and ex-CINDERELLA drummer Fred Coury.
